Janelle Monae has revealed how she and the cast of Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery – on Netflix from December 23 – foiled their love of murder mysteries during filming. And how she dressed for the occasion.

In a new interview with Yahoo UK, the award-winning actor/singer described how the cast got together to play murder mystery games, something she describes as “right up my alley”.

During breaks from filming, “we would play murder mystery games while we were on set. I got dressed, I had a mustache with a little curl at the end, a cane and a top hat.

Unlike Monae, however, Craig is not a fan of board games. “I’m just not into them,” he said. “I like crossword puzzles. I do this, just to exercise my brain, but I’m not a big board game player. I will participate because I like the company, but I prefer the conversation that happens around her. I can’t take them too seriously.

With Christmas just around the corner, other members of the ensemble’s huge cast have spoken about the games their families play over the holiday season. Leslie Odom Jr’s family has their own tradition: a puzzle.
